The SMC Takumar 28mm f3.5 is sharp, but shooting into sunlight causes a noticeable loss of contrast and some ghosting. Use a lens hood. Distortion is low. Color is good. The focus ring has a short travel from close focus to infinity. Focusing past 30 feet is difficult to nail without focus peeking.
