Nikkor S 50mm f1.4 Review

There truly is no reason to test a Nikkor S 50mm f1.4. These lenses are top notch. Tack sharp from f2, good contrast at all apertures, color is spot on, smooth bokeh and only minor green fringing at bright edges. Focus is smooth, although not as well dampened as later models. The only possible negative that could be argued is the fact that it's a non Ai lens and it can't be mounted to a Nikon D-Slr. However, if you have a Canon Eos camera, you can use a $16 adapter to mount this lens on it instead. The pics below were taken with an APS-C T2i body.
