I was unable to do testing on a film body before this lens sold. I do know from past experience that the Sigma 24mm f2.8 AF Superwide II is a great lens. It is also available as a Quantaray Tech 10 lens. It is tack sharp with low distortion and focuses closer than 12 inches.
